From Windows Settings → System → About, note the XPS model (e.g. XPS 13 9340). Close the lid and measure the flat outer panel width × height in cm and inches. Ignore the advertised diagonal. Compare both numbers with the skin listing’s dimensions.

True XPS-specific pre-cuts are uncommon on marketplaces; most options are universal sheets sized by inch class. Buy slightly oversized and trim to the flat lid. If a listing claims “XPS only” without dimensions, still verify with your tape measure.

Camera, logo and edge caveats

XPS camera housings and tiny top bezels need a clear keep-out. Do not cover IR sensors or webcam glass. Dell badges can sit under thin matte film but may telegraph through thick textured vinyl — dry-fit first.
